Our Commitment to Standards

Wimbledon Dolphins SC is affiliated with Swim England, and as our governing body we follow their guidelines and advice and implement Wavepower – Swim England Safeguarding and Procedures.

Membership & Insurance

All swimmers, coaches and registered volunteers are members of Swim England. This membership provides general insurance cover which includes public liability cover, employer's liability and personal accident insurance.

Annual renewal is in January each year and fee payments will be requested in March.

DBS Checks

All coaches and some volunteers have enhanced DBS under the Swim England affiliation.

 

SAFEGUARDING OUR SWIMMERS

All coaches complete a Swim England safeguarding course which is renewed every three years.

Our club Welfare Officer has also completed the above course and undertaken 'Time to Listen' training.

Our Welfare Officer, Peter Casey is the first point of contact for members, parents and staff regarding child safeguarding and welfare concerns. All incidents will be reported correctly and referred, in accordance with Wavepower.
